An example of Yulia Brodskaya’s work.
I find that repeat forms are a common theme in my work. I not only get inspired by them but I find that the processes by which my pieces are made, are also repeated. I find repeat form or pattern in many things the most obvious being seeds and flowers. But I find that my inspiration can come form anywhere. Quilling is a technique that some people would perhaps find monotones but I find it...

Paper presents us with the opportunity to create seemingly limitless variations...– Richard Sweeney
Quilling is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs. The paper is wound around a quill to create a basic coil shape. The paper is then glued at the tip and the coil shaped, these shaped coils are arranged to form flowers, leaves, and various ornamental pattern. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQ9DOF7zdGg

An truly breath taking artist, her work spans many disciplines, sculpture, fashion and theatre. She has a very impressive client list, the likes of Tiffianys, Selfridges, Vogue and Harvey Nichols. And to top it all her signature material is luxury papers. Check out her amazing portfolio. http://www.zoebradley.com/
And so I painted and I drew and I cut out paper and all over town I left...– Rob Ryan
Photograph taken at the Special Collections, All Saints Building, Manchester Metropolitan University. The artist has taken the whole book and folded it, with subtle changes a new shape is formed.
There is nothing nicer than a clean sheet of white crisp paper so working with paper seems an obvious choice for me. Folding, creasing, bending, cutting or curling the possibilities are endless.
Rob Ryan's elaborate paper cutouts →
Beautiful hand cut intricate pieces of work, these can be brought in paper cut form or as limited edition screen prints. I visited his shop in London and it was truly amazing. The large pieces were obviously way out of my price range so I settled for two equally as pretty cards. (Photograph to follow) http://rob-ryan.blogspot.com/
Motivation and Inspiration

The human form is a common theme through out my work. I like to produce sculptural pieces that adorn and compliment the body. Using unassuming materials also interests me, to use a material that is presumed...
